Sister Cathy Garrett-Davis bio in her own words.  "My passion is to empower people through encouragement and useful knowledge that improves everyday life. Born in 1964, I'm part of the tail-end of the Baby Boomer generation and am the first in my family to complete college (University of Pennsylvania, B.A. in English) and graduate school (Temple Law).

In addition to many past years as a private tutor/school teacher of K-adult learners, family law attorney, and communications liaison for immigrant healthcare workers, I currently am an insurance claims advocate exclusively for property owners. In spare time beyond eating Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, I am most active as a Board member of a Philadelphia non-profit providing food & support services to U.S. veterans (AHARI), and in ministry at my home church of 11 years (Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church).

Of all things, I am most proud to be Mom of a fiercely independent, quirky, and adventurous adult daughter who’s currently pursuing her Ph.D. overseas and never ceases to prove that God turned my ashes into beauty."
